With a very busy schedule in La Liga, FC Barcelona were trying to get a fourth consecutive victory against Real Valladolid, on their annex ground of Montjuic. In form since the beginning of the season, the squad led by Hansi Flick could count on the starting line-up of Olmo, in the middle of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Lewandowski to weigh down the promoted team of the Spanish Championship who had only one victory in three matches.

Quickly in the game, the Catalans knew how to be dangerous from the start like Olmo who hit the post (6th), before thinking of opening the score… but the Spanish international was offside (11th). But it would not be long before Barça logically opened the score thanks to a great recovery from Raphinha, well served by Cubarsi (1-0, 20th). In the process, a wonderful pass from Lamine Yamal found Lewandowski in depth. The Pole was then able to win his duel serenely in front of Hein and make the break (2-0, 24th).

First hat-trick for Raphinha at Barça

Just before the break, and after another post found by Olmo (41st), a perfectly struck corner found Koundé. The French international could have allowed Barça to take the lead before the break (3-0, 45th + 4). In full control, Barça calmly dominated the Pucelanos, unable to be dangerous throughout the match. Raphina could then be at the conclusion of a confused action, then to offer herself a hat-trick thanks to a beautiful pass signed Lamine Yamal (5-0, 64th and 73rd).

And to end the party, Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres adjusted their statistics for a crazy score of 7-0 (82nd and 87th). Alone at the top of La Liga, FC Barcelona will be able to go on vacation with a rested head, before attacking the start of serious things with a derby against Girona, then the return of the Champions League. For its part, Real Valladolid will have to do better to hope to stay in the Spanish elite.
