Barça’s huge success

FC Barcelona are gaining momentum at the start of the season, and have just inflicted a terrible 7-0 on Valladolid on the 4th day of La Liga.

Everything is definitely going well for FC Barcelona. Already the sole leaders of La Liga after three wins in three games, the Blaugranas have moved up a gear by offering an offensive festival against Valladolid (7-0) to the Montjuic crowd.

Hansi Flick’s men quickly made the difference by taking advantage of the naivety of the opposing defense, surprised by two deep balls that benefited Raphinha (20th) and Robert Lewandowski (25th). And Jules Koundé even invited himself to the head by scoring from a corner (45th + 2).

Good start for Flick’s Barça

In the second half, Raphinha had fun scoring two more goals to make it a hat-trick (64th, 72nd). The decisive scorer this week on his debut for the Catalans, Dani Olmo, after hitting the post twice in the first half, also found the net (83rd), as did Ferran Torres (85th) shortly afterwards.

With 12 points out of 12 possible, and an attack that is finding its cruising rhythm, this Hansi Flick version of Barça is rather well-born. And it is starting to create a small gap on Real Madrid, who are still finding their feet with Kylian Mbappé.
