Tino Kadewere’s adventure at Olympique Lyonnais is getting a little closer to its end. Arriving in the summer of 2020 from Le Havre, the Zimbabwean striker has only played sixty-four matches until today for the Rhone club. And for good reason, since he was already loaned throughout last season to Mallorca. Returning to Lyon, he did not benefit from much more playing time and the two parties signed a new loan, this time to FC Nantes.
OL communicated on Thursday to officially announce the departure of their almost twenty-eight-year-old player (he will have them this Friday). And the club of president John Textor intends to benefit from it if the deal goes well and Kadewere finds color among the Canaries. He thus specified that the loan was “ accompanied by a purchase option allowing OL to benefit from a 25% incentive in the event of a possible future transfer “. Kind of a win-win deal.

Fight to maintain
As a reminder, Tino Kadewere still has a year and a half of contract with OL, he who was committed until June 2025. FC Nantes is in any case counting on the new arrival to help it in its fight for maintenance. Thirteenth in Ligue 1, four points from the red zone, the Canaries will have to fight until the end.
