Despite his injury which will require an operation and a long unavailability, the Brazilian Gabriel Moscardo will commit to PSG in the next 48 hours.
Paris Saint-Germain is starting its winter transfer window in a rather incredible way. While he was due to join the capital club at the start of January, Gabriel Moscardo announced that he was injured and required surgery.
Although the Brazilian player is expected to miss several months of competition, the leaders of the Rouge et Bleu would still consider enlisting him. “PSG decided to continue the transaction, no change despite injury and necessary surgery. Moscardo will sign on Thursday and then undergo surgery in Doha. He will be unavailable for three months,” wrote journalist Fabrizio Romano on X, always very well informed about the transfer market.

Gabriel Moscardo therefore seems to be considered a player of the future for the Ile-de-France recruitment unit. “It’s very long term. Even with a small delay linked to his operation, it was more important to have him with us than with a rival”said an internal source from the reigning French champion club to Parisian. The young Brazilian midfielder (18 years old) should therefore sign from Corinthians for a check for 20 million euros (+ 2 million bonus).
