Lacking playing time at West Ham, former Parisian Thilo Kehrer should return to Ligue 1 in the coming days.
During the last summer transfer window, Thilo Kehrer left Paris Saint-Germain to commit for four years (+2 optional) to West Ham for around ten million euros. A considerable loss for the capital club, which had poached the German defender for 37 million euros, four years earlier, from Schalke 04.
At the Hammers, the German international (27 caps) failed to get back on track. In order to regain playing time and be selected for the next Euro which will take place in his native country, Kehrer has chosen to go on loan. The native of Tübingen will thus make his return to Ligue 1, since he will play the second part of the season in the colors of AS Monaco. According to Foot Mercatothe Principality club will have the possibility of keeping it at the end of the 2023-2024 financial year.
