In search of a new coach, Olympique Lyonnais made contact with Bruno Genesio, recently dismissed by Stade Rennais.

Olympique Lyonnais is at the bottom of the hole. The defeat conceded this Wednesday on the pitch of Olympique de Marseille places the Olympian club in a desperate situation with only seven points on the clock after 14 days. A crippling passage time with a view to maintaining it if we refer to the history of the championship.

Pierre Sage, who replaced Fabio Grosso after the dismissal of the Italian technician, himself called to the rescue at the beginning of the fall to replace Laurent Blanc, has not worked a miracle and if some are pushing to give him a chance, the staff of the Rhone club continues its search for a new coach.

Several names have been mentioned, including those of Igor Tudor and Jorge Sampaoli, but according to Le Progrès, the hottest lead leads to Bruno Genesio. Contact would have been established and the former midfielder would be tempted by a return to OL, four years after his departure. The two parties are due to meet soon.
