The Brazilian immediately showed his talent for his first steps in the Saudi championship.
Just one month after his signing, Neymar Jr made his debut in the Saudi championship, during the meeting between his team Al-Hilal and the club Al-Riyadh (6-1).
The Brazilian (who returned to competition with the Seleçao after long months of absence) entered the game shortly after the hour mark, in place of his compatriot Michael, to the ovation of his new supporters.
Al-Hilal then led 2-0, including a penalty from Aleksandar Mitrovic. The former Parisian quickly got into action, with a nice delivery for Malcom, on the action of Nasser Al Dawsari’s goal (3-0, 68th).

Neymar officially opened his assist counter immediately, by shifting Malcom on the counter-attack, for the former Girondin’s goal (4-0, 83rd).
15 minutes into the Saudi championship… that’s already 2 assists for Neymar! 💫🤌

The former PSG player could then have scored his first goal, but Neymar left the penalty obtained at the end of the match to Saudi star Salem Al Dawsari (5-0, 86th). A choice that doesn’t really appeal to Al-Hilal supporters…
