The Rodri file remains complicated for Real Madrid. According to information from the COPEManchester City is demanding 80 million euros to let their midfielder leave, an amount considered far too high by Madrid leaders. The Merengue do not wish to exceed 40 million euros, with a limit set at 50 million.

This major financial disagreement considerably slows down negotiations, while Rodri remains one of Real Madrid’s main priorities in this transfer window. Before being able to finalize the arrival of the Spanish midfielder, the club will also have to free up a place in its squad, in particular with the expected loan of Franco Mastantuono to Fiorentina.
