Polish striker Robert Lewandowski received an astronomical offer from Saudi clubs in 2024, but chose to remain faithful to FC Barcelona. In an interview with Polish media FaktLewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi, said that the offer exceeded 100 million euros per season, and could have turned any player to Saudi Arabia. However, the Pole preferred to focus on his sporting goals at Barça, including the conquest of La Liga and an ambitious campaign in the Champions League.
Zahavi also explained that this year, the idea of leaving Barcelona to join the rich Saudi Pro League did not even touch the mind of his player. He stressed that the attacker feels at home at Barça and that Saudi regulations limiting the number of foreigners makes opportunities even more limited. For Lewandowski, money has never been a priority at its attachment to the Catalan club and its quest for sporting success.
