Publill is considered a very talented young right side, and he played an important role in the triumph of Spain at the Olympic Games last summer. Barcelona has observed him since then and also followed his progress in Segunda this season, where he plays in Almeria.

Barcelona is looking for a player capable of competing with Jules Koundé, better than Hector Fort did this season, and Pubill could be the ideal player to achieve it. According to Sara Escriu (via Ed), a personal agreement has already been reached with the 21 -year -old. In addition, Barcelona and Almeria would be about to finalize an agreement for Pubill, the last details being the only obstacle to its finalization.
Publill is a promising hope, and if Barcelona manages to conclude a financially viable agreement to recruit it this summer, it would be an excellent deal. He and strong can undoubtedly be long -term options in the right rear position for the Catalans, and for the moment, he is quite capable of competing with Koundé.
It remains to be seen if Pubill will finally join Barcelona this summer. Several teams are certainly in competition to recruit him this summer, so Deco did well to do it early.
