It was the long -awaited match of this 20th day of Ligue 1. At the end of a lively and intense match, Olympique de Marseille came to the end of Olympique Lyonnais in this Olympico by winning on the score of 3 goals at 2.

Yet led to the score, the Marseille club managed to overthrow Lyon at the end of the match. Mason Greenwood, Adrien Rabiot and Luis Henrique allowed Marseille to tear off the three points and resume its distance from AS Monaco in the ranking (40 points for OM and 37 for ASM).

On the Lyon side, despite goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Corentin Tolisso, the Gones failed to win for the first of Paulo Fonseca on the sidelines. The Rhodanians point to 7th position.

A disappointing first act

Marseillais and Lyonnais were impatiently awaiting this part. However, the two teams took a long time to get into the game and failed to put the right ingredients to hurt their opponents in the first period. Despite a Marseille domination overall, the players of Roberto de Zerbi never knew how to pack the Vélodrome stadium.

A second act of madness, Luis Henrique changes the meeting

As soon as the locker room returns, the two faces displayed a much more conquering face. But to everyone's surprise, Lyon strikes first. Corentin Tolisso does not tremble against Geronimo Rulli following a delicious service by Rayan Cherki in the back of the Marseille defense (1-0, 53rd).

Sanded and close to sinking, the Phocaeans will finally return very quickly to the game. Coming into play in place of Nadir, Amine Gouiri will make the difference and find Mason Greenwood in the second post which pushes the ball at the right foot to the bottom of the nets (1-1, 61st). A goal that will galvanize the formation of Roberto de Zerbi who will repeat a few minutes later thanks to a head by Adrien Rabiot (2-1, 64th).

But, the Olympians will deconcentrate and let Lyon return to the game. Adrien Rabiot touches the ball in his hand in the surface which allows Alexandre Lacazette to win his duel against Rulli on penalty (2-2, 72nd).

And while the meeting was heading for a draw, Luis Henrique will offer victory in the last minutes of the game following an excellent service of Lirola in the area. The Brazilian does not tremble and propels the ball into the skylight of Lucas Perri (3-2, 85th).
