Everything happened very quickly for Maxence Caqueret. Transferred on Sunday from Lyon, his training club, the French midfielder made his debut with Como this Tuesday evening, during a late Serie A match against AC Milan.

Substitute at kick-off, Maxence Caqueret was launched at the start of the second half by his coach, Cesc Fabregas. And he wasted no time in highlighting himself since his opening on the right for Assane Diao turned into a decisive pass. The former Betis player, who also arrived this winter, opened the scoring after a superb solo raid (60th).

Unfortunately for the promoted Lombard, the third recruit of this month of January, the French goalkeeper Jean Butez, had to bow twice in the process. Theo Hernandez (71st) and Rafael Leao (76th) allowed the Milanese to turn the tide in the space of a few minutes.

Sergio Conceiçao’s AC Milan took the opportunity to temporarily move up to 7th place in the rankings. Como, for its part, is still 16th in the ranking, with only one point ahead of the red zone.
