Manchester City is struggling. Despite the recent victory of Pep Guardiola’s men against Leicester, the Mancunian club is in a disappointing fifth place in the Premier League. Already relegated 14 lengths behind Liverpool, the Skyblues hope to take advantage of the winter transfer window to strengthen themselves and thus raise their heads in the second half of the season. According to the latest information from Daily Mailthe Citizens are also considering recruiting Omar Marmoush this winter. Seduced by the profile of the Egyptian international (35 caps, 6 goals), Manchester City wants to try its luck for a player who has shone brightly in recent months. Author of 18 goals and 12 assists in 24 matches in all competitions, the native of Kairo impresses and remains one of the great architects of the Eagles’ current third place in the league.
Frankfurt is already looking for Marmoush’s replacement
A file which should however prove expensive because if the value of the 1m83 right-hander is initially estimated at 40 million pounds sterling, a departure in January could change the situation and push the Skyblues to pay between 50 and 60 million pounds. For its part, Frankfurt, aware of the desires, has already surveyed the market in the hope of finding its worthy successor. Names which are added to an already XXL short-list with the presence of Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen), Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich), Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace), Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle) and Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad). Winter promises to be hot at the Etihad Stadium.
