Vitor Roque should be a Real Betis player. According to AsBarça and the Sevillian club have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Brazilian player, who will join Andalusia on loan with a possible purchase option that will be discussed next summer. Despite Barça’s desire to recover immediate cash in the transfer of the 19-year-old forward, the Blaugranas have resigned themselves to respecting the player’s wish to stay in Spain.
The former Athletico Paranaense striker wanted to continue playing in La Liga, or at least in a major league, so as not to compromise his chances of being selected with the Seleçao. The residents of the Estadio Benito Villamarín therefore quickly moved forward on the big Roque move, while the latter seemed very close to joining Sporting Portugal. After having refused several huge offers from Saudi Arabia, the Auriverde international (1 cap, no goals) is therefore preparing to join Sevilla for at least one season with the aim of getting his career back on track.
