Thilo Kehrer is back in Ligue 1. A year and a half after his departure from PSG, the German defender was in fact loaned by West Ham to Monaco. The opportunity to look back on his experience in the capital and in particular the criticism with which he had to deal when he arrived at the Rouge et Bleu.
“I was 21 when I left Germany, left for a big club like PSG with big goals, with very high expectations, a very high level too. It made me learn a lot. Even the tougher periods, where I couldn’t show the level I have, it made me learn and I gained experience. It was necessary to know these periods, these criticisms too. Experiencing this was a first in my career. I can say today that it helped me enormously,” he confided.
