In search of a left back, Olympique de Marseille are on the verge of completing the arrival of a French international.

It’s no secret: OM is looking during this winter transfer window for a left acetal, who can play higher up in a piston role, to compete with Ronan Lodi. And according to information from RMC Sport, the Marseille leaders have found what they are looking for.

“At the moment, we are working especially on the left-back position which can play in a four or five-man system. It’s a priority for the club.”Pablo Longoria declared this Thursday at a press conference.

A loan or a dry transfer?

According to the sports media, Olympique de Marseille “is close to an agreement” in view of the arrival of Adrien Truffert. If the terms of the transfer have not filtered out, the arrival of the 22-year-old French international (1 selection) would be very well underway.

As a reminder, Adrien Truffert extended his contract at Stade Rennais last summer until June 2026.
