The Gabriel Moscardo “soap opera” is experiencing a new episode. Ultimately, the Brazilian midfielder could stay with Corinthians.

Paris Saint-Germain has started its winter transfer window in a rather incredible way. While he was due to commit to the capital club at the start of January, Gabriel Moscardo announced that he was injured and required surgery.

Indeed, a foot injury requiring surgical intervention was detected during his medical examination. While the leaders of the Ile-de-France club seem to have decided to procrastinate in this matter, the president of the Auriverde club, Augusto Melo, has decided to give them an ultimatum according to ESPN Brasil. If the transfer of the Brazilian midfielder is not completed by Friday, he will remain with Corinthians.

Augusto Melo had already expressed his opposition to a sale of Moscardo. “From the start, we were against the sale. It is a reality and, in certain meetings, I have mentioned it. I was not in favor of the sale. Players trained at the club will forever constitute a third income. It will first be a shirt, then lace: we want our players to be trained, to give us titles before being promoted. It sells at an incredible price »explained in a press conference the leader of the most followed Brazilian football club in Brazil after Flamengo.
