After destroying AC Milan (5-1), Inter Milan took control of the Italian championship.

This Saturday, at the start of the evening, Inter hosted AC Milan on the occasion of the fourth day of Serie A. Mkhitaryan quickly opened the scoring during this meeting, with a deflection of the left foot (1- 0.5th). Still in the first period, Marcus Thuram then scored a magnificent goal. After taking Thiaw on board, the French international curled his shot with his right foot to find the opposite corner of Mike Maignan (2-0, 38th).

In the second half, Leão gave the Reds and Blacks hope by sliding the ball under Sommer’s body (2-1, 58th). A short-lived hope, since Mkhitaryan scored a double by wandering through the defense to place a blocked shot which deceived Maignan (3-1, 69th). Hanging in the area, Lautaro Martinez caused a penalty, which Hakan Çalhanoğlu was responsible for transforming with a full-center strike (4-1, 79th). In stoppage time, Frattesi further ridiculed the rival club with a straight shot (5-1, 90th + 3). Inter now lead Serie A with twelve points.
