The France team will resume competition. Coach Didier Deschamps unveiled the list for the two matches on Thursday, against Ireland on September 7 in qualifying for Euro 2024, and Germany on September 12 in a friendly.

It’s back to school for the France team. This Thursday, August 31, Didier Deschamps unveiled the list of 23 players selected to play the two matches of the Blues against Ireland (qualifier for Euro 2024), September 7 at the Parc des Princes and against Germany (friendly ), on September 12 in Dortmund.

For this first list of the season, several returns are to be remembered. In particular that of Lucas Hernandez, absent from EDF since his knee injury against Australia during the 2022 World Cup. We will also note the return of William Saliba, still performing at Arsenal and that of Boubacar Kamara.

In midfield, the coach trusts the same squad summoned in June. The returns of Pogba, who has just resumed competition, and of N’Golo Kanté, who has left for Saudi Arabia, therefore do not seem to be planned immediately, even if the latter remains selectable, promised Deschamps.

As a reminder, the France team remains on four victories in four games in qualifying for the Euro scheduled for next summer in Germany. The vice-world champions are at the top of group B.
