Luis Enrique announced yesterday that Ousmane Dembélé was going to play well against Bayern Munich, but that he did not know for how long. In the end, the 2025 Ballon d’Or was the holder at kick-off, but only lasted around twenty minutes in this match won by the Bavarians (2-1), before falling again. While waiting to know the duration of the Frenchman’s unavailability, Samir Nasri confided that the choice to field Dembélé in this match without a crucial issue was incomprehensible.

” I don’t understand. It’s the fault of both (Luis Enrique and Dembélé, editor’s note). After the match against Nice, we can clearly see Dembélé saying that he was in pain. If Luis Enrique plays him, it’s because he asked him the question of whether he felt good. Dembélé had to say yes to him. That’s why he started it. There is no risk in taking a match this early in the season. I think that Dembélé, because of having been unavailable for a certain period, he said to himself “I’m ready”. For me, the blame is shared”he declared on the set of Channel Champions Club.
