A little over a month after its demonstration against Slovan Bratislava (6-1), PSG returns to the Champions League with a much more complicated meeting. The reigning double European champion plays on the Manchester City pitch tomorrow evening (9 p.m.). This is already a first shock which “will not be decisive» as Ousmane Démbélé himself recognizes. Nevertheless, it is already a first meeting and an opportunity to gauge oneself against an opponent who should go far in the competition.
“It’s a great match against a very good team, a very good coach. It won’t be easy tomorrow against this team. We will prepare well. It’s not a decisive match, but we want to win. We know what awaits us», Says the Ballon d’Or, before continuing. “No, we are not going to send a message. It’s October, the season is long. You’ve already seen when it really matters. It’s important for us to finish in the top 8 even if the play-offs were successful for us. Up front, it’s a world-class team. We prepare quietly.»
