Loïc Badé undoubtedly lives his last hours in the Seville jersey. According to our information, the Andalusian club and Bayer Leverkusen have reached a total agreement for the transfer of the French central defender. The amount of the operation would be estimated at around 30 million euros, more than double the 12 million spent by Seville in 2023 to tear it from Rennes.

Arrived in Andalusia in January 2023, Badé quickly established himself as a strong man of the Sevillian defense. He notably scored his first goal against Valence in April 2023, before winning the Europa League a few weeks later against AS Roma. His solid performance in Liga and Europe have not escaped Leverkusen, who will compete in the next Champions League.

Attracted by the Leverkuse sports project

Seduced by the 2024 German champion's sports project, the French international (1 selection) is ready to take the plunge. Discussions around his contract relate to duration and wage conditions, but should not block the operation. Leverkusen hopes to finalize quickly to integrate the defender as soon as the Bundesliga resumption.

Badé, who had extended his contract with Seville until 2029 in September 2024, left behind a marking assessment: a European title, more than sixty games played and a key role in the club's defensive solidity. His departure to the Bundesliga should be formalized in the coming days, marking a new chapter in the career of the native of Sèvres.
