A 72-year-old Brighton supporter died after having been unwell in the second half of the Premier League season to Fulham (1-1), informs the Bbc. Despite the rapid intervention of emergency services, club staff and the medical team, the man could not be resuscitated. The meeting was not interrupted, the authorities believing that a judgment could have complicated rescue attempts or a possible transfer to the hospital.

Brighton's general manager, Paul Barber, reacted: “It is an extremely sad end of the match this afternoon, and our most sincere thoughts go to the family and friends of the gentleman who lost his life. Although this man is at the heart of our concerns, we are also aware that it was an emotionally difficult situation for staff and supporters located nearby. In the coming days, we will ensure that all affected people are properly supported. ”
