This Wednesday, January 8, West Ham announced the end of its collaboration with its coach Julen Lopetegui, a decision with immediate effect. Arriving at the club this summer after a season with Wolverhampton, the former Spain coach is having a very difficult season with the Hammers. 14th in the Premier League, Jean-Clair Todibo’s teammates are left with two very heavy defeats against Manchester City (4-1) and Liverpool (5-0).

The club also confirmed the departure of four staff members, who came to accompany the Spanish manager. West Ham is therefore on the trail of a replacement on the club’s bench. Rumors leading the Hammers towards Graham Potter have been heard in recent days, although the club has not been keen to disclose more information on Lopetegui’s succession.
