Cruzeiro opens the door to Sergio Ramos

Sergio Ramos (38) may have finally found his next club. Announced for some time as a departure for Brazil, notably with Memphis Depay’s Corinthians, it is the track leading to Cruzeiro which has heated up in the last few hours. Asked by ESPN BrasilPedro Lourenço, the owner of the Brazilian club, opened the door wide for the former Spanish international (179 caps, 23 goals), today without a contract.

“If he wants to come, subject to Cruzeiro’s conditions, he can. We will speak with him. Maybe he will be the chosen one, because we are thinking of recruiting a central defender. Maybe Alexandre Mattos (Sports Director of Cruzeiro, editor’s note) will take care of it.”explained the businessman.
