The ranking of European top scorers

This Monday is already the sixteenth assessment of the season in the ranking of European top scorers. We thus find the scorers who shook the nets in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland and Turkey. Harry Kane maintains the lead with 21 goals in 19 matches. However, the English striker remained silent during Bayern Munich’s defeat against Augsburg (2-1).

A very different scenario, however, for Kylian Mbappé who is back on his heels with 21 goals in 20 matches. The French striker scored a double against Villarreal (2-0) including a Panenka to enhance his performance. The podium is completed by Erling Haaland with 20 goals in 23 matches. The Norwegian, however, marks time and lowers the pace like this new meeting without scoring against Wolverhampton (2-0).

Portugal’s scorers shine

Fourth, Vangelis Pavlidis follows the pace with 19 goals in 19 matches. Against Estrela Amadora, the Greek striker scored twice in a big 4-0 success. He is ahead of Ayase Ueda and his 18 goals in 19 matches. The Japanese striker did not score against Heracles Almelo during Feyenoord’s victory (4-2), with a goal disallowed. Sixth, Luis Suárez follows with 17 goals in 19 matches (1606 minutes played) with his double with Sporting CP against Arouca (2-1).

Beaten by Nottingham Forest with Brentford (2-0), Igor Thiago did not score and remains stuck at 16 goals in 21 matches. Eighth, Vedat Muriqi marks time after Mallorca’s heavy defeat against Atlético de Madrid (3-0) and has 14 goals in 20 matches. Ninth, Ayoub El Kaabi stays the course thanks to his 13 goals in 15 matches. The Moroccan scored the winning goal on Saturday for Olympiakos against Volos (1-0). Finally, his compatriot Yanis Begraoui comes tenth. The former Toulouse player shines with Estoril where he scores 13 goals in 19 matches. He remains on a victorious double against Vitoria Guimarães (4-2).

Eldor Shomurodov (Istanbul Basaksehir) follows in eleventh place with the same statistics. Chris Bédia (Young Boys Bern), Paul Onuachu (Trabzonspor), Samu Aghehowa (FC Porto), Jesus Andres Ramirez Diaz (Nacional), Mason Greenwood (Olympique de Marseille), Lautaro Martínez (Inter Milan) and Luka Jović (AEK Athens) fail to reach the top 10 with 12 goals. Anderson Talisca (Fenerbahçe), Joaquin Panichelli (Strasbourg), Ferran Torres (FC Barcelona), Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth and Manchester City), Aleksey Batrakov (Lokomotiv Moscow), Deniz Undav (VfB Stuttgart), Guus Til (PSV Eindhoven), Tawanda Maswanhise (Motherwell), Lawrence Shankland (Hearts), Benjamin Nygren (Celtic Glasgow), Christian Fassnacht (Young Boys from Bern) follow with 11 goals.
