It is now closed. After final fruitful discussions, a total agreement was reached between Rayo Vallecano and Hull City for the transfer of Nobel Mendy. The 21-year-old Senegalese international central defender, who played 28 matches in all competitions with the Spanish club, is crossing the Channel to commit to the English club on a long-term basis, signing a five-year contract.

The financial operation turns out to be particularly substantial. The amount of the transaction amounts to 25 million euros, accompanied by a clause guaranteeing Rayo Vallecano 12.5% on a future resale. The big winner of this movement in the shadows is none other than Real Betis, which directly recovers 20% of the total compensation thanks to a percentage negotiated in advance.
