Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo says he has no plans to hang up his boots. Even at 39, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner still refuses to consider the end.
Ronaldo scored two goals and completed a full 90 minutes in Portugal’s 5-1 victory over Poland in the Nations League. At the end of this part, he still had to express himself regarding the date of his retirement.
Ronaldo is ‘always motivated’
He told reporters: “I just want to enjoy it. An end-of-career project? If it happens, it will happen, but maybe in one or two years, I don’t know. I’ll be 40 soon and I just want to enjoy it. If I am motivated, I will continue. The day I am no longer motivated, I will stop.”
With his two goals against the Poles, CR7 now has 910 career goals. He is the best scorer in activity and also in the history of football. But, he doesn’t plan to stop there. His goal is to get 1000 goals.
