Deprived of an injured Luke Shaw and absent for several months, Manchester United is looking for a left side. The English club are interested in Nicolas Tagliafico.
The season had barely started when Manchester United were deprived of Luke Shaw for the next two months. Victim of a muscle injury, the left side leaves a big void that his team seeks to fill before the end of the summer transfer window. Several leads are being followed by Mancunian recruiters, one of which leads to Olympique Lyonnais.
According to Fabrizio Romano, it is Nicolas Tagliafico who are of serious interest to United. The Argentinian world champion is also far from being unknown to Erik ten Hag since the current coach of the Red Devils had the defender under his orders when he was on the bench for Ajax Amsterdam. However, Tagliafico is not alone on the list of targets.
Cucurella and Alonso on the list
Several names have already appeared in the English press, including that of Marcos Alonso (FC Barcelona) and Marc Cucurella (Chelsea FC). The latter is also in discussions with Manchester, the last of which would have taken place on Tuesday. Either way, time is running out as the summer transfer window ends on Friday.
