3.5 million viewers on average watched the match between Les Bleues and the Reggae Girlz, Sunday noon, on M6.

On Sunday, the French women’s team entered the competition for the 2023 World Cup. Hervé Renard’s players did not manage to do better than a draw (0-0) against Jamaica when they were largely given favorites.

Broadcast at lunchtime on M6, this meeting was followed by nearly 3.5 million viewers on average (3.432 million). According to Médiamétrie, this represents an audience share of 28.6%. Between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m., the sixth channel was then at the top of the hearings until the 1 p.m. news on TF1 began, which brought together 4.19 million viewers. This is a good score for this first match of Les Bleues, even if we are still very far from the audiences recorded during the 2019 World Cup, which took place in France (11 million viewers on average).

The audiences for the two opening matches, broadcast on France 2 and M6, had already been encouraging. New Zealand – Norway, broadcast on Channel 2, had 739,000 early morning viewers. 250,000 people then watched the second match of the day between Australia and Ireland.
