Rabiot, who left Juventus last June, will sign a two-year contract with Marseille on Monday. Once he has passed his medical, he will officially commit to the team coached by Roberto De Zerbi.

The big question now is when “the Duke” will be able to take his first steps with the Olympian team. The team’s supporters dream of seeing him on the field next Sunday for the clash against Lyon in the championship (5e day). But is this really possible?

Administratively, nothing prevents Rabiot from holding his place against the Gones. OM should register him with the League by this Tuesday at the latest. On the other hand, there is a real question mark concerning the physical condition of the French international.
It’s up to De Zerbi to decide
Rabiot has not played a single match since the semi-final of the last Euro against Spain, whether it was a competitive match or a friendly. He is clearly lacking rhythm. Nevertheless, and as L’Equipe specifies in its edition of the day, the former Parisian has not remained inactive during this period. He has kept himself in shape and does not necessarily suffer from an athletic deficit. The ball is therefore in De Zerbi’s court.
