Relations between Luis Enrique and the Paris Saint-Germain management seem to be going well. While some rumors are already suggesting an extension of his contract, the interested party remains focused on upcoming deadlines for the time being.

Luis Enrique began his collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain last summer. For his first season at the head of the Parisian team, the Spanish technician has drawn up an impressive record with 35 wins, 12 draws and 7 defeats in 57 matches.

Under his leadership, the capital club managed to win Ligue 1, the Coupe de France and the Champions Trophy, while reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League. These results were very well received by the PSG management, who particularly appreciate the work of Luis Enrique and his management of the group.

“I really like it here”

The understanding seems so good between the two parties that rumors already evoke a possible extension of the contract of the Gijon player, under contract until June 2025. Questioned on this subject during a press conference, the former coach of Barça preferred to remain evasive. He notably emphasized that he was more focused on his team’s next match against Montpellier this Friday at the Parc des Princes.

“I don’t have much to say about it, I’m not interested.said Luis Enrique. I really like it here, but I’m not interested in talking about it more and doing calculations. I’m focusing on the upcoming match, on the pleasure I have working with the people at the club, on my daily joy in this project.”
