Ligue 1 in the clear on TF1

An agreement was reached this Wednesday between the first channel and the Professional Football League (LFP).

This is good news – but with some perspective – for those who are reluctant to pay for the TV subscriptions required to follow Ligue 1 live. While it now costs around 50 euros per month to watch the entire French championship via DAZN and beIN Sports, many have given up – willingly or unwillingly – on breaking the bank.

One of the alternatives leads to the Free Foot application, and this access to goals and summaries of matches in delay. Another option requires even more patience since you will have to wait until Sunday morning to discover the key actions of the matches scheduled for Friday evening and Saturday.

For a million euros a year?

To obtain these rights to the famous Sunday magazine, the first channel would have agreed to an annual investment of one million euros. The season on TF1 opens this Sunday, at 11am. With the first subjects dedicated to Ligue 1, images in support.
