Officially announced as a new PSG player last winter, at the same time as his elder Lucas Beraldo, Gabriel Moscardo had to wait a few more months before investing in the French capital. Still considered too green to join the PSG rotation, the 18-year-old midfielder had then finished the season with his training club Corinthians.

Despite a stubborn left foot injury, which kept him off the pitch for several months, he was able to play again in June. At the beginning of July, the Brazilian finally made his appearance in Paris, present for the restart under the orders of Luis Enrique. Since then, the Auriverde international hopeful has very partially participated in Parisian matches, playing only 31 minutes of play against Sturm Graz… Certainly his last of the season with his club. Last week, Paris had indeed preferred to spare him for the friendly match against Leipzig, and the latest information today points towards a departure.

Reims and Paris close to an agreement

This Saturday, the newspaper The Team informs us of Paris’s willingness to loan its new player. If we imagined a possible return of Moscardo to Corinthians, or in any case, to Brazil, it would seem that his future is indeed written in Ligue 1… but rather in Champagne. Indeed, the Stade de Reims would have positioned itself to welcome him, and would be very close to obtaining an agreement for the player absent from the group to face Le Havre yesterday.

Obviously, this loan should not contain a purchase option, Paris counting on Moscardo in the future. But it would in any case be a way for him to launch his adventure in France, in a club renowned for its know-how with young players. In recent hours, the theory of Youssoufa Moukoko’s arrival in Reims had also gained momentum… To be continued, but it seems in any case close to being completed for the Brazilian.
