Inter could soon welcome a new investor. According to the Corriere della Seraa Qatari fund has expressed interest in Oaktree, current owner of the Italian club, to acquire a minority stake. The name that circulates the most is that of Al Mirqab, a family office based in Doha which manages the fortune of Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, former Prime Minister of Qatar. The discussions are currently at the verbal stage. This possible operation comes as Inter and AC Milan must unveil the facade of their future stadium by the end of October.

Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani (67) has made several significant real estate investments in Italy. In April, Al Mirqab notably bought 80% of the building located at 8, via Monte Napoleone, in Milan, from the French group Kering, for 1.1 billion euros. A few months later, he obtained the former property of Silvio Berlusconi for around 350 million euros. A potential investment in Inter could thus be part of the continuity of its operations in Italy. The Milan club closed the 2025-2026 season with 518 million euros in turnover and a profit of 22.7 million euros. According to Forbesthe valuation of the reigning Italian champion reaches around 1.5 billion euros, including debt, while Football Benchmark estimates it at 2.1 billion euros.
