After refusing to extend his adventure with Manchester City last summer, İlkay Gündoğan signed with FC Barcelona by signing a two-year contract with an optional additional year. According to TV3the German is reportedly considering leaving Barca, after receiving an offer from Qatari side Al Sadd to play there for the next three seasons.

The Barcelona player could ask for a counter-offer that improves his conditions and thus reach an agreement quickly with the Qatar Stars League team. It remains to be seen what the position of FC Barcelona and its coach will be in the face of this offer, while Pablo Torre, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong and more recently Pedri, are unavailable due to injuries.
