Unable to buy the Parc des Princes following the refusal of Paris City Hall, PSG continues to prospect to find a place to build a new stadium. Cramped at the Parc des Princes (48,500 places), Parisian leaders studied several tracks (Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Montigny-le-Bretonneux, etc.). The Saint-Cloud racecourse track still exists according to The Team. Unlike those of Auteuil and Longchamp, belonging to the municipality of Paris, the Saint-Cloud racecourse is the property of France Galop and can therefore possibly be negotiable.
The sports daily adds that PSG is in talks with the mayor of Saint-Cloud, Éric Berdoati. France Galop would not necessarily be a seller, however. Less than 10 km from the current PSG stadium, this hypothesis presents some difficulties. The transport offer should, in the event of the installation of the PSG, be considerably developed, for example. Still according to the French daily, Qatari leaders and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi do not despair of acquiring the Parc des Princes during the next municipal elections in 2026.
