Kylian Mbappé knows how to have fun. During the traditional PSG charity gala, the Parisian number 7 won the highest lot of the auction: a painting representing Pelé. However, the auctions were hot. Started at 5,000 euros, the bidding quickly rose to 300,000 euros before Kylian Mbappé and his friend Achraf Hakimi engaged in a fierce fight. The two friends did not want to give up, in a room both amused and stunned by the sums, as explained by The Parisian. In the end, it was the Frenchman who obtained the painting for the tidy sum of 520,000 euros.
The canvas was all the more important for Kylian Mbappé as he had a special relationship with Pelé. He and the Brazilian legend had met several times and many observers liked to compare them. In the end, the evening raised 2.7 million euros for various charities. Mbappé did not leave empty-handed. Perhaps he is starting to think about decorating his new house in Madrid…
