Recruited in the money time of the 2023 summer transfer window, Randal Kolo Muani (25 years old) was supposed to be an important part of the Frenchification project for the Parisian workforce, with Ousmane Dembélé and Kylian Mbappé. The Ile-de-France leaders even agreed to pay no less than €90 million to enlist a player who arrived for free at Eintracht Frankfurt a year earlier. Today, RKM could make its return to Germany.

The Team indeed reveals that Kolo Muani is one of Borussia Dortmund’s priorities. Qualified for the Champions League final, the Marsupials will have a larger budget for their 2024 summer transfer window. Their idea is clear: let Sébastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko go to hire a more efficient attacker. And obviously, Kolo Muani is the lucky one.

RKM back in Germany?

At PSG, the French international is not, however, having his best season. Substitute, the former Nantais player scored 12 goals and delivered 6 assists in 43 matches, in all competitions. Not a great record. The BVB, which would also be interested in Serhou Guirassy, would like to obtain a loan with an option to buy, but would be willing to pay up to €50 million for a direct transfer.

A sum which remains far from the investment made by PSG in 2023. Except that the capital club knows that it will never regain its investment. It also remains to be seen whether the French champions will want to let him slip away, they who already have the post-Mbappé era to manage. Dortmund hopes to convince them and enlist a player who shone during his only season in the Bundesliga (23 goals, 14 assists).
