Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara has started negotiations with Turkish club Galatasaray Istanbul. His adventure with the Reds could therefore be coming to an end.
Direction Turkey for Thiago?
According to the Fanatik media, the “Gala” is convinced that Thiago is ready to join Turkey. Midfield agents have held several meetings with club officials, while vice-president Erden Timur traveled to England last week for talks with the former Bavarian.
An offer has been made to Liverpool and it is believed that the Merseysiders would be willing to accept. Despite his immense talent, Thiago (32) is no longer essential on the Anfield side. His repeated injuries have ruined his stay at Anfield and Jurgen Klopp would agree to compose without him.
If he joins Galatasaray, Thiago will have the assurance of being able to play in the Champions League when this is not the case with Liverpool. It is an event that is close to his heart, as he has already won it twice.
