Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has officially received an approach for a challenge elsewhere.
The big clubs are jostling for the services of Xabi Alonso, the excellent coach of Leverkusen. And there is one who has decided to go on the offensive to enlist him if we are to believe information disclosed by Bild.
The source assures that Liverpool have sent an official proposal for their former player with the hope that he will become their new coach, replacing Jurgen Klopp. The person’s response was not leaked.
Bayer not worried about Xabi Alonso
The management of Bayer Leverkusen still remains confident that Xabi Alonso will refuse this proposal and continue his adventure at the club.
Liverpool are not the only club eyeing Xabi Alonso. The same goes for two other of his former teams, namely Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. The battle is therefore likely to rage for his signature.
