His last pass in Paris was not on a football field but during the Louis Vuitton fashion show at the last fashion week. Dressed in pink fur and red glasses, he made a name for himself in the company of Layvin Kurzawa, the two PSG undesirables. Now at Eintracht Frankfurt, even German journalists have heard about his taste for fashion. At the presentation press conference, Hugo Ekitike wanted to reassure everyone about his interests: “I am a person who is quite open to the outside world. Outside of football, I’m a pretty simple person. I like spending time with my family, playing play, board games. You could see once that I had dressed a little flashy. It’s one of the things I like too, fashion, art. I am a fairly open person”.
A passion that he will be less able to develop in Germany. Unfortunately for him, fashion week does not take place in Frankfurt. The former RĂ©mois will have to bounce back to another club to find a new fashion capital. Milan, London or a return to Paris could make him happy by combining football and fashion.
