Left free last summer by PSG, Sarah Bouhaddi, 37, returns to service by signing for Arsenal until the end of the season.
At 37, Sarah Bouhaddi is offering herself a second adventure abroad after spending a few months at Seattle Reign FC (now OL Reign) in 2021. The former goalkeeper of the French women’s team (149 caps) has signed until the end of the season with Arsenal.
Bouhaddi left PSG at the end of his contract last summer and, after six months without a club, finds himself with the Gunners who are third in the Women’s Super League, three points behind the leader, Sam Kerr’s Chelsea. Cannes will benefit from the departure of Canadian goalkeeper Sabrina D’Angelo for the Women’s Gold Cup from February 20 to March 10.
Arsenal, however, are not playing in the Women’s Champions League after their elimination in the play-offs against Paris FC last September.
