Three days before the transfer window closes, the Hugo Ekitike file remains open in Paris.
PSG refused an offer of 20 million euros from Frankfurt but the two clubs are still discussing the future of the young 21-year-old striker, notes L’Equipe this Monday.
According to the German press, it was the capital club which relaunched negotiations by making a counter-proposal to Eintracht. A counter-offer of 30 million euros maximum including bonuses and a possible percentage on resale.
The former Rémois, poached for 36 million euros after a one-year loan concluded in the summer of 2022, has already reached a contractual agreement with the Bundesliga club. In 18 months in Paris, Hugo Ekitike played 33 matches for four goals scored.
