During the last summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain recruited Gonçalo Ramos (22 years old). Loaned with an option to buy, the Portuguese was bought permanently by the capital club, which paid 80 million euros including bonuses. But the former Benfica player is having a complicated first steps at PSG (5 goals in 20 appearances in all competitions including 11 as a starter). Last week, Record revealed that he had been affected by a virus which caused him to lose 6kg. Which could partly explain his delicate situation and his poor form.

This Monday, The Parisian confirms that he was the victim of a violent virus this winter. It was gastroenteritis, which caused him to lose weight very quickly. A health problem considered serious by the PSG medical staff, who spoke with Benfica in order to set up a treatment protocol. Very involved in this issue, Luis Campos took matters into his own hands. He worked behind the scenes so that Gonçalo Ramos could be examined and followed by the best gastroenterologists in Lisbon. Once treated, number 9 was able to get back to work, having finally regained his healthy weight.
