On September 7, Marie Portolano appeared before the Paris court for defamation following a complaint from Pierre Ménès. The latter was absent at the hearing, only represented by his lawyer.
The journalist criticizes his former colleague from Channel Football Club two passages from his book I’m the woman on setpublished in March 2024. Her accusations against him, in the raised skirt affair, gradually made him disappear from the small screen.
Pierre Ménès has been talking about football news on his YouTube channel for several years. “Where is the evidence?” Now, ten years later, I say: ‘But where is the evidence?’ There isn’t a line of them, ten years later. So I have doubts”, he confided during an interview given to Audience.
Pierre Ménès is not done with justice
Visibly resentful towards Marie Portolano, he accuses her of having “is making a buzz with this”. “It’s the feat of his career,” even the 63-year-old man dares.
The judgment in the defamation lawsuit brought by Pierre Ménès has been reserved until November 4. He will then appear on November 16 at the Nanterre court for sexual assault, relating to facts dating from 2016.
