Vinicius Junior’s entourage also broke the silence after the controversial expulsion of the Real Madrid striker against Villarreal. According to Marcathose close to the Brazilian were questioned about the incident that occurred after his hair pulling on Nathan Saliba, a gesture which led to the cancellation of his goal and his exclusion. Their reaction is part of the Madrid protest surrounding the arbitration, without denying that the regulations can justify the decision taken by the referee.
“The rule is fair. But have they forgotten what happened against Valencia? »would have responded the entourage of number 7, in reference to a precedent involving the Valencian club. This reaction puts back on the table the feeling of injustice felt in the Madrid camp and the question of the consistency of refereeing decisions. While Vinicius risks a suspension which could deprive him of the next Clasico against FC Barcelona, the incident continues to provoke reactions within Real Madrid and in the Spanish press.
