After having terminated his contract with Manchester United by mutual agreement on the sidelines of the 2022 World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo decided at the start of the year, to everyone’s surprise, to continue his career in Saudi Arabia. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who has seen many figures in world football follow in his footsteps, has signed up until June 2025 with the Al-Nassr club. And the story could well continue…
According to insider Haitam El Imani, Al-Nassr and CR7’s entourage should discuss a contract extension at the end of the season. “The Al Nassr and Ronaldo camp wish to begin discussions on extending Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract at the end of the season. Both parties are happy,” he wrote.
At 38 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo has not yet decided to hang up his boots. He has also recently announced that he wants to reach the historic mark of 1000 goals scored in his professional career. It is currently at 857.
