Dani Carvajal has not drawn a line under the Spanish selection. At 34, the right-back, who has just signed with Getafe until June 30, 2027 after his departure from Real Madrid, remains hopeful of one day returning to La Roja. Despite his recent absence, the international with 51 caps remains determined to defend the colors of his country again, provided he finds his best level.
In an interview relayed by Marcathe defender confided that he followed Spain’s journey with passion during the last World Cup, without missing a single match. Very attached to the national jersey, Carvajal therefore refuses to definitively close the door to a return. “I will never say that I will never wear the national team jersey again. I will never refuse to wear it again”he said, sending a clear message to coach Luis de la Fuente.
