Jose Mourinho turned down two Saudi offers

José Mourinho is not going to be happy at all. For the 6th day of Serie A, AS Roma traveled to Genoa. For the occasion, the Portuguese technician still trusted Paredes in the midfield while Aouar was still on the bench and Renato Sanches still injured. But in a one-sided match, the Louve club fell heavily.

If Cristante was able to quickly equalize after Gudmundsson’s early opener, Roma ended up sinking at the end of the first period. Retegui gave his team the advantage before Thorsby and Messias drove home the point (4-1). With this big defeat, Roma are 16th in Serie A and have only won one small match in 6 meetings.
